Oliver Green and Tim Cook, TA’s at Nutfield Church Primary School will be hiking 780km over 4 weeks from their starting point in St Jean Pied de Port in France, across the arduous terrain of northern Spain, to Santiago De Compostela, the Camino Pilgrimage.
They will be hiking an average of 25km a day and staying in hostels or camping along the route in a tent. They are doing this in order to raise money for Nutfield Church Primary School, whereby 100% of proceeds will go directly to the school.
The planned journey will be updated most days throughout the 4 weeks on Nutfield Church Primary School’s youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyr0D-pDkANjYzhw3CGWv5g.
They will be uploading a vlog entry documenting their movements each morning and evening to keep you posted on their travels, and will upload a longer video montage of some of the exciting moments of their trip when they return.
With thanks to the school’s photographer, Tony Cavallo (at Frootes Media) who has kindly donated a GoPro 4k camera for recording. The guys really look forward to representing the school and we hope many of you will track their journey.
