This Summer, our Year 6 children decided to make their end of year production “Robin and the Nutfield Hoodies” even more spectacular by raising money for charity!
At the end of the production, our stars of the stage told our parents about the charity that they wish to support, “The Teenage Cancer Trust”. The children then passed a collection plate through the audience. Our amazingly generour parents helped our talented Year 6 children raise a massive £268.62 for this worthy charity!
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word “cancer”. The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to making this happen.
The money will be presented to the charity early in the Autumn term. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing parents for donating to the Teenage Cancer Trust. We are sure that they will be delighted to receive our donation.
