There was great excitement in the playground on the morning of Thursday 28th March! Year 1 and Year 2, who have been learning about The Great Fire of London this term, have all worked very hard to create a Tudor house. Last Thursday, these were all collated to form a wonderful Tudor town, which was then set on fire to re-enact the Great Fire of London!
Fortunately, the fire service had been invited to join us for the event and were on hand to put the fire out and keep everyone safe. Once the fire was extinguished, the fire fighters joined the Year 1 and Year 2 children in class to talk in more detail about fire safety.
