Children in Year 2 carried out an activity with toothpaste to understand the affects that unkind words can have on another person, as part of our anti-bullying campaign.
The children were asked to squeeze the toothpaste from the tube into the bowl. Once the tubes had been emptied, the children were tasked with putting the toothpaste back into the tube.
We then talked about the toothpaste representing unkind words and once unkind words come out of our mouths, they are difficult to ‘put back’ like the toothpaste in the tube. We then made a collective piece of art based around this activity.
