On Wednesday 21st March, Year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to be able to go to Reigate and visit the Caves. All of the children and adults had a had a lovely time! We went into the Caves and learnt about the history of the caves and their use during the war. We visited the Anderson and Morrison Shelters in the caves and saw one of the only roman tile kilns in Europe. The children were fascinated to learn about the evolution of the toilet.
In the past few weeks, the children learnt all about the history of Reigate, the park and Reigate Castle. The children also went to Reigate Priory Park, where we had lunch and walked to the pond to do some beautiful sketching. Year 3 saw the biggest swans and geese they have ever seen.
